A:  I love to photograph weddings, engagement/couples sessions, family portraits, senior photos, and more!  Learn more about my offerings here.

A:  It’s very important to me that we have fun and tell a story that is authentically YOU.  My priority is getting to know you so that we can let your personality really come out.

While I will give you direction on what poses to take, your photos will not feel “pose-y.”  We will walk down the street, through the grass, play in leaves or snow, and capture true interaction between you and your family or significant other.

Speaking from personal experience, it can feel a bit uncomfortable jumping into the unknown of having intimate moments between you and your loved one(s) captured on camera by a “stranger.”  But trust me when I say that you will have fun beyond what you imagined and it will be a real treat that not only lends memories through experience, but through the beautiful photographs we’ll create together.

A:  The first thing I recommend is to dress in a way that embodies who you are – aka – don’t change the way you dress just for this one day. With the exception of your wedding day, the clothes you wear for your photos should be what you’d wear any other day with maybe a bit more flair.

The camera loves color, so don’t be shy to wear bold colors!  That being said, if you are being photographed with others – family or couples sessions – think about wearing colors that complement.  You don’t have to all be wearing the same color, but what works best is similar color pallets that work well together.  For couples, if one person is wearing a print, the other should wear a solid that complements the print.

Most importantly, be yourself, have fun, and feel free to throw in some accessories that reflect the season or the surroundings you’ll be photographed in.
